- We started Week 1 of our marathon training plan. First Marathon! First Week! Already I'm having doubts about being able to make myself run in cold and in the rain. Promising, no?
- We had a wonderful Thanksgiving even though it was the year the OP's (=Other Parents) had the kids. We still sat down with nine, gave lots of thanks, talked to the kids and others we love who are far away, ate delicious food, laughed while watching mediocre football, and were as relaxed as it's possible to get.
- I love coaching!! One of the reasons I haven't blogged as much recently is because I've been working, filling up my slate with clients for weight loss and creativity coaching. The process is amazing, I get to work with the coolest people, my training is fascinating, and ... I'll stop now or you won't get me to shut up. It is just that great!
- You wouldn't believe how often we use the phrase, "'cause I'm a pot hole" in this family.
- Another reason my training blog is suffering is because I'm back in my studio. I've taken Sheri Gaynor's 30 Day Bliss Challenge:
- And now I'm going to whine - yesterday was a totally crap day. As in horrid, stupid, wanted-to-go-to-bed-at-2-in-the-afternoon-to-get-the-day-over-with kind of crap day. But then I got an email from Alisa saying I won this fabulousness in her giveaway from Lift Your Sole:
- After that I got to watch my DVR'd episode of Glee (OMG I LOVE THAT SHOW!) and then there was football on - so I ended up being sorta glad that I hadn't thrown in the towel at 2.
- Lastly, weekend joy! The December party circuit begins. We'll divide and conquer in separate directions tonight and then join forces and party hop en masse tomorrow. Sunday it's the Titans v. the undefeated, division rival - the Colts. And Miami takes on the Patriots. Does it get better than this?
TODAY I LOVE: wrapping my hands around a hot tea mug while contemplating what to play with in my studio

Horray for week 1! I start next week, so I hope you have some good tips forthcoming in your posts.
Also, my girlfriend watches Glee.....ugh, haha
You CAN totally run in the cold and rain, I've done it, you can do it =).
Yay for helping turn your day around.
I need to get on the glee train!
congrats for winning the charm necklace. that's gotta put a smile on your face :-)
I did my first half marathon in March, thus, I ran often in the cold. I'll never forget running down the street all cold weather suited up and having the bus full of school kids come riding by. I'm sure they thought I was nuts. I think I was setting a fine example ;-)
All you people with your "I'm starting training"...makin' me all feel guilty with doin' nuttin.
glad the coaching is going well, and congrats on the necklace, so cute!
Ah!! You are going to run Tobacco Road....me too. I saw it and how can you pass up a marathon in your own backyard! Let me know if you ever want to meet up for a long run or something.
