- We've had a couple of three mile runs - in spite of cold, drizzly rain. I've had about enough unstructured time now. I'm ready to have a schedule - as long as it has fun words on it like yoga, weights, stretching, and running. I'm ecstatic to give up the pool and the bike for a short while.
- We're thinking about doing this as our first marathon. It's local - on a trail we love. It's flat, which seems like a smart choice for first time slow pokes. It's affordable. Yay.
- Even more affordable is this race. Woo hoo! We signed up and are looking forward to it.
- I'll be doing a post soon with more details - but my business is fantastic! I love school, I love weight loss coaching, I love my clients - the whole thing is tremendous. It's wonderful to be full-time busy doing something I love.
- There's a lot of really cool stuff going on out in Blogland - but mostly I want to point you in the direction of DC Rainmaker. If you haven't visited him already (and I realize most of you have - but still) here's the dealio - the guy takes the coolest trips, cooks/finds the most amazing food, manages to get his training in no matter where he is in the world, and he blogs about it all in gorgeous detail so that we can live vicariously through him. What is not to love about that?
- Finally - best of luck to all the marathoners and IMAZ peeps this weekend!
TODAY I LOVE: adding pecans and yellow bell peppers to my salad - yummy!

Glad everything is going well. Maybe I'll have to look into the marathon too! Have a fantastic weekend.
i'm drooling over the tobacco trail marathon too, but no telling where the family will be then. and i'm not signing up for anything until we get settled on a moving date.
i will, however, be there to cheer you guys if you do sign up for it.
Love your 70.3 sticker! Glad you're enjoying the down time, but still looking ahead!
Woot to Turkey Trots! I'm ready for two of them on Thursday - both in full Turkey getup.
Oh, and thanks for the nice comments above!
Yay for my turkey trot! I'm so excited that I've had so many fellow bloggers sign up. The weather is supposed to be NOT HORRIBLE which is saying a lot since it's the NW =).
Good luck narrowing down your first marathon. I'm certainly glad I've done a couple but I don't plan on any more anytime soon. hehe
I'd love to find a race in a couple of years for you, me and Donna...I think we'd be good race buddies as we're about the same speed. Hmmmmm....
I'll find out this weekend if I am ready for a marathon or not in January. Here's to making good choices!!
