When I was a waitress, we used to say you were 'in the weeds' when the restaurant got crazy busy and you couldn't catch up. Well today I am seriously in the weeds. My "station" is a mess! I am in the middle of several quilt projects - one of which is a present and has to be finished a week from today. (Eeek!) I am in the middle of a writing project which doesn't have an exact deadline but which is haunting my brain and making it hard to focus on other non-written things. I'm trying to coordinate Thanksgiving plans. We're having dear friends visiting us from Tennessee and my boys are coming with them. We'll have a full house, an overflowing table of 17 for Thanksgiving supper, and two birthdays to celebrate that weekend. Not only that, but Donna and I are going to Philly tomorrow to see Madonna in concert! (Can you hear me squeal from where you sit?! I am sooo excited.) AND my undefeated Titans play Brett Favre and the Jets this weekend. What's that? Training, did you say? Err, hmmm. My, what beautiful weeds I'm in!!

I love this post - you sound happy. Who cares about training...life is good!!
The Cowboy's are still my team, my family is wondering why I'm so interested in the Titans this year. That will be a good game this weekend...go Titans!!
lol, well at least my 49ers beat the Rams last weekend!
Enjoy your self and your loved ones!
LOL... Can't see the training for the weeds ;-) Have fun!!! Safe travels!!!
17 people? Oh my goodness! I typically manage to get myself invited somewhere where I don't have to cook. This year is no exception.
You are going to have so much FUN I can hardly stand it. Also, it's the off season. Your 1/2 iron is a year away. You can afford to do other things right now! :-)
You make me laugh...Madonna...I did hear the squeals! I hope you both have a great time!!!!
17 for Turkey day celebration-YIKES! Who is doing the cooking?
Are you running in a turkey trot??
Have fun at the concert! Your Thanksgiving is going to be huge!
OH! That was a great post! Thanks for the laughs.
Keep up the great attitude. Training? Doesn't the winter mean that we stop?
It's cold outside!
Have a great time at the concert!!! I love big Thanksgiving dinners like that. That is what it is all about.
And how come no pics of quilts??
Hey madonna will trim those weeds right back, she makes everything better. Have Fun!!
Seventeen makes for a crowded Turkey day table, but how awesome!
17 for Thanksgiving and a Madonna concert -- Wow, that's a lot going on! Have fun in those weeds :-)
Have fun in Philly.
A Titans win would be great for the Dolphins. Go Titans!!
I am definitely adopting that saying!
