I love Fall! I love the Bolin Creek Trail! I love my fabulous Brooks Glycerin kicks and my purple Timex Iron Man watch. I love my iPod with its songs that make me laugh or go faster or slow down and breathe. I love RUNNING!! I swear* to you that if the Rapture comes when I am out for a run like the one I just had, I won't notice it. I will miss it entirely. (Of course if the Rapture happens the way some people think it will - I'm getting left behind anyway. Might as well be having a fabulous run in that case, eh?) Today is a great day. I am in seriously good space. Except I stink. So I'll go fix that and hope the rest of you are having super terrific days too.
PS - *I first typed "I sweat" instead of "I swear" which cracked me up. And is true. Fixing that. Now. Really.

Audacious Goal
June, 2014: Ironman France, Nice
My goal is to race smart and finish strong and healthy in under sixteen hours (yes, the cutoff for this puppy is only 16 hours - not the typical 17 of other Ironmans!) after swimming 2.4 miles (3.8 km) in the Mediterranean Sea, biking 112 miles (180 km) in the Maritime Alps, and running 26.2 miles (42.4 km) along the gorgeous Promenade des Anglais. I am Iron!

Glad you are having a good day! My day was so so until I went for my run. Now everything seems fine. :-)
So glad you had a great run...you make me want to get out there today. Maybe I'll do an easy recovery run :-)
