Accounting for myself: Monday I worked on a research/writing project. (During which I came across the LOLcat version of The Wasteland which totally and completely cracks me up. I am geeky like that.) Tuesday I was working the polls (6 am to 8 pm) for a state run off election. (We had 83 voters in our precinct for the whole l-o-n-g day.) And yesterday I was miserable and spent the entire day in bed, mostly asleep. Eighteen hours of sleep later, I'm finally resurfacing and feeling better. Just in time to hop on a plane tonight to go see my boys! (I get to visit them every two weeks this summer which makes the nine weeks they're away at least manageable!)Training? Not so much to report. Working away from home, being sick, not to mention the heat and the pollution alert have knocked me out of my runs and swims. I'm going to get a trainer ride in after lunch today and take my running gear with me in hopes of putting in a few miles in Nashville. About the only win I've had in my ongoing battle for consistency is that I have been stretching and rollering faithfully. (yay me)
I guess I've still got some adjusting to do if I'm to fight my way clear of the quiet, formlessness of the summertime blues. Peace all!

Safe travels and have fun!
You're faithfull on the rolling!!
WOW! That deserves some major cudoos!
I would much rather swim, bike and run all at once then roll ALL THE TIME.
With the pollution alert it's hard to get out there.
Maybe you could get a swim in at the Y or a gym. That might make you feel better
Glad you are feeling beter! Nothing like a little swim, bike, run thing to chase away those blues ;-)
Have a good trip. I could really feel the effects of the smog the other day here in atlanta. Sounds like that roller is workin out for you?
Enjoy your visit with your boys. I bet they miss you :)
Good job with the stretching and rolling. Sometimes a break from the hard training is not a bad thing. Our bodies need a break at times.
Kick the ole' summertime blue's butt ;)
Glad you're feeling better!
Hope you have a great visit to Nashville. Sometimes a change of venue is just what one may need to get back into the swing of things. Hope that's true for you!!
Have a great trip!
I was feeling pretty good until I realized I was too stupid to get a "LOL cat" parody poem. Whatever. Stupid poetry.
Have a great visit with your boys! Safe travels!
Have a great trip!! Summer is strange for our house as there is no set schedule and the blue can set in easy. Fight it girl!hz
