My ex is a jerk (but I suppose everyone's ex is a jerk otherwise they wouldn't be exes?) and I haven't slept because of a bullshit letter signaling the next round of lawyer games. You would think that being divorced for SEVEN years would have put this crapola behind us, but no. BLECK. (And note to my ex or his attorney if they're reading - get off my blog. You're not welcome here.) Everyone else - sorry to be a whiner this morning.I am helping to proctor the EOG's (End of Grade Exams) today (and tomorrow). Nothing like spending the day watching middle schoolers take a test and escorting them to the bathrooms.
I guess the upside is that I've lost two pounds (although I'd rather have the pounds than the churn with the ex) and I have a swim on the plan for today. Of the three disciplines, the swim is the most reliable for letting me purge stress. When I have a good run, it brings more clarity than the swim. But as we've demonstrated over the last six weeks - the run is hot or cold. The swim is always at least lukewarm.
Gee, I'm pleasant today. Can't wait to have some time to check in with everyone later and see how the week is shaping up! Peace, my peeps.

Exes can be trouble. It sucks that after so many years this is still going on for you. YIKES! Hope your swim was good. I am so looking forward to my neighborhood pool opening up. I will be in there every night for a swim even when that water is still ice cold! LOVE TO SWIM!
