Does This Ever Happen To You?

I was a couch potato all weekend. After that great trail run, I sat on my tushie playing video games and watching football. Well, I did get out and vote. (Yay!! Voting is awesome but it only lasts so long.) I didn't train, or exercise, or you know, move around much. I'm struggling to find a training plan or even pattern that's going to work for me now that it's colder, darker, and often gloomy. I'm thinking I need to concentrate on indoor (preferably at home) options. Does anyone have any core workout videos or spinerval recommendations?

Great pic!

Don't worry about the down time. You'll find something out there to motivate you.

I like the idea of hiting the weights. I thik that this winter, I'll be doing the same.

Good luck!

Oh BTW: Might be time to change your tickler ;)

Finally, a good use for a cat :-) I will be doing those P90X DVDs after Ironman. I'll let you know how it goes after I get started. LOL... in a month or two :-D

Yup this is the off season for a lot of people. Soon I will be right there on the couch with ya! lol.

I want to do some yoga classes on my off season. Weights are another good idea.

ha! I like the firm dvd's. those ladies can kick ass. i've done their cardio w/weights dvd's and their yoga one (which i thought was really good).
i need a good spin routine too--as soon as i get a trainer for the bike!

I'm not sure which is more evil - core workout videos or spinerval videos. I prefer the couch method.

Yes, I've become slothlike too.

I don't have much in home stuff that keeps me motivated, but I'm heading off to the gym in a few minutes. Somehow that gets me going...

Haha, Funny picture!!

We have a Flexible Warrior DVD which is part of the Spinervals series that focuses on core and flexibility. I have yet to do all on it but find it pretty challenging. I like it because it's geared for triathletes and has people who are not born pretzels.
