OK - so it's really more like in my blogger draft folder - but I promise it's worth waiting a couple more days for. I'm trying to figure out how to scan something very fun to include in it. And to distract you I'll point out that while you've probably read RBR's Pac Grove RR, Donna has written one too! Visit them, let me catch up and learn how to be a tool user, and then check back in, ok?
PS - Mini rant about J-Lo: I think it's totally awesome that she decided to do a triathlon (a new challenge for her) to honor her new babies (the other new challenge for her). I've heard she's a diva. She might be. I don't know her. (In fact, I don't even know why she's famous - is she an actress? or from a famous family?) Maybe she did stop to redo her hair and nails in transition but you couldn't tell it by comparing her T-times with mine. I know that my nails were the last thing on my mind as I was waddling around disoriented trying to extract myself from an excess of neoprene. Maybe I just like that her pace (for a shorter race - have to throw that in) was not much faster than mine. Maybe she had the resources for a great coach and fancy gear. (I have no idea and I'm not willing to spend any time researching what kind of wheelset she had.) Ultimately, she - like any of us - had to do her own race under her own power. Her fame didn't make her swim easier or her ride shorter or her joy at finishing less. I hope. I also hope she'll do more triathlons. Then again, I hope everyone will do more triathlons. That's the kind of inclusive, non-purist I am. Come one, come all! Triathlon for the masses!

I agree with what you wrote about JLo. At first I was down on her because she IS such a diva and a total attention whore but yeah. Good for her for finishing. I ranted about it on Steve's blog anyway. lol.
Take your time with the report. These things should not be rushed.
We are all anxiously awaiting your stellar race report. Hope things are well for you
Can't wait to read the race report :-) I haven't been following/am not aware of the JLo saga, so can't speak to that...
I know your race report will be well worth the wait :-)
I agree about J-Lo...it doesn't matter who you are, doing a triathlon is hard work, and kudos to her for finishing!!
Her time was completely respectable, but did you see the gear she wore?? I would have expected a celebrity to have something better on that a long beach dress or whatever it was. I'm thinking she was hiding something under there.
We are DYING here :-) I'm glad JLo did a tri too!!
As for who she is, she's Jenny from the block, not that that will help you at all. Those are lyrics BTW ;)
I am with you though. She finished that race and that she deserves some credit for!!
Can't wait for your report.
Oh, you're just a tease ;-) Look forward to that report soon.
As for the mini rant, didn't sound like a rant all to me.
Can't wait to read your race report. I agree with the JLo, bottom line we do this stuff for ourselves and you have to put the time in it. Although it would be nice to have a trainer by your side each day during training.
The thing about J-Lo is that she had her trainer with her on the swim and during transitions. So from that perspective she did have some outside help. She still ran a whole heck of a lot faster then me though. :>)
I'm all about the tri, just haven't done one yet... I'm still waiting for Lance to do his.
Haha.. love the "in the mail" with the draft folder thing! Cant wait for it to be delivered.
Oh for Christ sake! Out with it already!
I am so far behind in life I can see my own ass, yet I have managed to write two race reports in the amount of time you have written NONE.
I know this is harsh, but I think it was time for some tough love!
OTR: ('On the real' for you non-high school teachers who are subjected to text message slang everyday) Miss you! Hope all is well in Calyxland. Smooches to Donna, John and the kiddos (both the nekked and furry kind)
Hey sister! OMG I'm so psyched for you!! Got your email, and will be writing you soon. I'm so sorry for the delay. You ROCK!!!
OK. So...
About that Race Report?
;)
OK. I don't care about the RR. I care about you!
Write! Even if it's not Tri related.
How are you?
