Motivation: What kept me motivated this week was joy in the training process. I truly enjoyed the training itself this week. Tri-Tool/Gear Gratitude Focus: I am grateful the sun finally came out. I realize it's not exactly a tool but it was an ameliorating factor this week. Hip hip hooray for sunshine and cool breezes.
Obstacle Of The Week: I'm tempted to say that other people's injuries were my obstacle but the more honest answer is that entitlement was my obstacle. I have to battle feeling entitled to "time off" when I deal with something unexpected. "I had drama therefore I shouldn't have to work" is neither healthy, nor accurate, nor even what I truly want. And yet, that's my first fall back position. I'm catching myself and redirecting sooner but I have to own up that it's still an obstacle.
Setting My Sights For The Upcoming Week: Honestly, I don't know what to focus on this week! I think I need to clear my desk, clean my studio so I can have some more open mental space in my training, but I don't see that actually happening. I think I want to have another week where I just enjoy the fact that I'm lucky enough to get to train.
Celebration: I'm beginning to feel like an athlete! Woo hoo! I'm beginning to trust that I can keep this up! I love training. Yay me!!

You are already an athlete. :)
Of course you are an athlete! Way to go on a great week.
When stuff happens in my life I try to remember that taking an hour out to train won't make a difference in whatever is causing stress. Sometimes I have to change my plan, but I can usually find an hour or so to train.
What'da mean you're BEGINNING to feel like an athlete?? Hell Girl you already is one!!! Keep up the training and you'll be an ELITE athlete before you know it.
What movie was it that had the line "The road doesn't care about your troubles." Some kind of running commercial, I don't know, I'm rambling now but you get the point. Running is the best mind relaxer/stabilizer/cleanser. You can't go wrong with this addiction.
Ditto the above comments, you are already an athlete! Glad you had a great training week and let's hope the sun sticks around this week.
Great to hear the positiveness in your post! I agree with the others, you're already an athlete. Sunshine does help, though :-)
