Guess What We Just Registered For?!

And since we're going to be on the West Coast for that, we went ahead and signed up for this:

(First Half)

We're going to take it super easy during the clinic. It's more of a mental training and emotional adjustment than a physical conditioning exercise. We need to know what to expect and what we have left to train for more than we actually need to get a hard day of training in on that Saturday. I hope that we won't be thrashed for the SF 1/2 - but I guess it's ok if we are! Anyone going to join us? That's my birthday weekend by the way. I'll be 40! Pretty cool way to celebrate the day, eh? Ciao.

Training Notes: 15 minute run today - which of course means intervals. Bleck. I know intervals are what makes you go faster overall, but it's so haaarrrrrd. :D I'm done whining. For now. Hard to sustain a whine while daydreaming about being in San Francisco and Pacific Grove for my birthday!

I love how you are doing a half because you'll be in the area, and why not, right? LOVE IT! You are hardcore!

I am definitely in, but I don't know what to do, half or full? I kind of want to see how San Diego goes before I say full, but I am afraid it will sell out if I wait that long. Argh! Help! What should I do?

I think the Pac Grove clinic is a great idea. The run and bike are super easy, no worries, but mentally it will help you to get in the ocean ad deal with the friggin' kelp. Did I mention lately that I hate the swim?

I know I'm late to the party but wanted to still give my support to your endeavors. As for the SF marathon, I really want to run it but I'll be traveling back to Ohio that next week to run the Parkersburg 1/2 marathon so I can't commit to it just yet. I'm still working on it.
