I Loves Me Some Training Tools
I geek out on training plans. I just love them. I (heart) Workout Log! Our official training plan doesn’t start until March 31st, but we decided to do a couple of shakedown weeks first. We didn’t want things like figuring out pool passes or times, running routes, biking in weather or on the trainer, etc to foul up our “real” start. We figured it couldn’t hurt to do the workouts scheduled for Weeks 1 and 2 a couple of times. So far we’ve biked and swum. Today’s easy 15 minute run is going to be a challenge because it’s so flipping cold - but soon, soon, soon the weather should be warmer. It feels fantastic to have my training plan in ink in my paper calendar (from March 31st to September 13th!) I’m working on getting the plan(s) all in workoutlog. Saturday is the first day of registration for the race. I can’t wait!!!!
